  2. Thanks for the link to the Twitter basic tips – I found I was getting asked the same things so many times, and it’s surprising how counter-intuitive things like “how do I send someone a message?” can be at the start.

    The one tip I’d add since I wrote those is “When you start on Twitter, don’t try to recreate your old network [Facebook friends, work colleagues or whatever] – try and create your new one.”
